The VIP tier, and how you reach it
Consignors who sell £50,000 or more through us within a rolling twelve month period may be moved onto our VIP rates. Everything you keep goes up, because each of the higher bands starts sooner.
How you qualify

The figure is paid sales through Lake Card Store in any rolling twelve month period, not a calendar year. It is granted at our discretion once you reach it.
Personal to you
VIP is non-transferable and applies only to items consigned under your own account with us. It is intended as lifetime status.
It starts when we confirm it
VIP applies to sales made after the status is granted. Past sales are not recalculated, and unless we have confirmed it in writing the Standard rates apply.
The fees do not change
Only the percentages move. The £3 handling fee on sales under £50 is the same on both tiers, and we still pay every eBay selling fee ourselves.

Rates effective 4 January 2026. Sales under £50 also carry a £3 handling fee per item. VIP is granted at Lake Card Store's discretion once you have reached £50,000 of paid sales in any rolling twelve month period. It is personal to you and applies to sales made after it is granted.
What actually changes
The higher bands simply start sooner
Nothing is added on the VIP tier and nothing is taken away. The top rate is 95% on both, and the bottom rate is 85% on both. What changes is the sale price at which each of the middle and upper bands begins, so the same card pays you more.
There is no separate band above £9,999 on either tier. From £2,500 up on VIP, and from £3,000 up on Standard, the rate is 95% however high the sale price goes.
