Two different questions
Refund policy
Nothing is bought or sold on this website. Everything is transacted on eBay, so which answer applies depends on whether you bought from us or consigned to us.
If you bought an item from us on eBay
Your purchase is an eBay transaction and is covered by eBay’s own returns rules and the eBay Money Back Guarantee, together with your statutory rights. The returns window and conditions shown on the individual listing are the ones that apply.
Start the process through eBay, from your purchase history, so it is properly logged and protected. If something has gone wrong, you are also very welcome to contact us directly and we will do what we can to sort it out quickly.
We photograph every item ourselves and describe condition and grading as accurately as we can, precisely so that returns are rare.
If you consigned items to us
Your items remain your property the entire time they are with us. They are yours until they are sold and paid for, or until they are back in your hands. You can ask for them back at any time.
Withdrawing items. If you ask for items to be withdrawn from consignment and returned, at any time, we charge a £3 handling fee per item plus postage and packaging. This applies whether the items have been listed yet or not.
Unsold items. Unsold auction items are normally re-listed in a future auction block, or returned to you on request for £3 per item plus postage. Unsold Buy It Now items at the end of the three month window can be relisted for a further three months for £3 per item, move into an auction at no extra fee for the move, or come back to you for £3 per item plus postage.
Payouts already made. Where an item has sold and a buyer later returns it through eBay, the sale is reversed. This is the reason payouts are not made immediately. From 1 September 2026 they are made within 10 to 14 working daysof the buyer’s payment being received, so eBay’s 14 day returns period is settled before your money goes out rather than after.
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit on a return you have requested. We will assist with any claim filed with the shipping provider, but we are not liable for a shortfall if the carrier declines to reimburse full market value.
What we cannot refund
Fees already incurred are not refundable. That means the £3 handling fee on a completed sale under £50, the £1 pricing fee where you asked us to price a Buy It Now item, and postage and packaging on a return.
We do not guarantee that any item will sell, or that it will reach a particular price. Market conditions, timing, competition and grading all affect results, and a disappointing sale price is not grounds for a refund of our percentage.
