How Pokemon card consignment on eBay works

You post us your Pokemon cards, other trading cards or sealed product, and we sell them through the Lake Card Store eBay account, either in one of our two monthly ten day auctions or at a Buy It Now price you set. Both routes pay the same percentages. The difference is speed against control.

We run two ten day auctions every month, one in the middle of the month and one at the end. Items of all values can be included in either auction.

Listed in our eBay store for up to three months at a price you set yourself. If nobody takes it, relist it for another three months, move it into an auction, or have it back.

Payouts are normally made within 10 to 14 working days of the buyer's payment being received, which allows time for eBay's 14 day returns period.

Before you post your cards

Fill in the consignment form first, so we know your parcel is coming and can match it to you when it lands. Then pack the cards properly and send them tracked and insured. Getting them to us safely is your side of the arrangement, and our responsibility starts when we confirm your parcel has arrived.

The final delivery to us has to be made by Royal Mail. We do not accept parcels delivered by Evri, DPD, Yodel or UPS. Sending from abroad is fine, as long as the UK leg is handed to Royal Mail. Our shipping policy has the address and the detail.

What you receive from the final eBay sale price. We pay the eBay fees, and the buyer pays the postage.

Rates effective 4 January 2026. Sales under £50 also carry a £3 handling fee per item. Sell £50,000 or more with us in a rolling twelve month period and you may be moved onto our higher VIP rates.
